Boca Summer Horse Camp is the summer camp program for Staffordshire Equestrian Center Inc.

Located in Boca Raton FL 33496 in the neighborhood of Horseshoe Acres located on Clint Moore Road between Lyons Road and the FloridaTurnpike serving the surrounding communities of Delray, Boynton, Deerfield Beach,

South West Palm Beach County and Northern Broward County

  1. Cost The cost per camper is $300.00 per week, if you are a returning camper current student, "bring a buddy" or book 2 weeks you receive $100.00 discount, costing only $250.00 per week per camper. 
  2. Camp Hours Camp Starts at 8:30am and ends 2:00pm. Monday thru Friday      Boys and Girls      Ages 6-12
  3. Before and Aftercare Before and after care is available 7:00am – 9:00am & 2:00pm -6:00pm at the cost of $50.00 per week or $15.00 per day, per camper. 
  4. Deposit / Payment: A Non- refundable reservation /application fee of $50.00 per camper, per camp week, at that time we will confirm your reservation request. Once confirmed the entire weekly balance will be due 30 days from the start date of the camp. Should you need to change your reserved camp date a $25.00 camp change would apply and would be based on space availability.  Your paid reservation /application fee of $50.00 will be applied to your camp fee. Failure to pay the balance of your camp 30 days prior to camp start date will result in cancellation of your camp request.
  5. Cancellation Policy: Once we process the reservation/application fee and camp charges no refunds will be given regardless of reason or actual time spent in camp. No refunds or discounts will be given for partial participation. Once camp starts no refunds will be given. Camp will be held rain or shine. 
  6. Payment may be paid by cash, check, Visa or Master Card.
  7. Health: WE ARE NOT A PEANUT FREE ZONE! Please inform us of all allergies, health issues or restricted exercise in advance of application process so we can advise if the camp will be the right fit for your child. It is highly recommended that all students have a current tetanus inoculation. Any illness or symptoms Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath, Muscle aches, Sore throat, Unexplained loss of taste or smell, Headache or Diarrhea will result in immediate pick up and can only return with a negative rapid Covid 19 test. At this time mask are at the parents option.
  8. Helmets Each camper must use SEI or ASTM approved horseback riding helmet while mounted. You need to purchase a helmet, a basic schooling helmet costing around $50.00. The closest tack shop is approximately 3 miles from the barn. Please call Sunshine & Horses Tack ask for Liz 954-899-2332 Located in Sunshine Meadows off 441 between Clint Moore and Atlantic Blvd. Also there are tack shops in Parkland and Wellington. Helmets are available on line but all helmets must fit properly so it is advisable to purchase one and fitted locally. Each camper must use SEI or ASTM approved riding helmet while mounted. NO flip flops or open toed sandals are PERMITTED IN BARN. Tennis shoes are fine for camp but lesson students will need paddock boots.
  9. Snacks / Lunch:  You will need bring a snack, lunch, including utensils, napkin and plenty of water, juice or sports drink.  If you need to refrigerate any item, please provide ice packs in lunch bags for such use. No heating or microwaving provided. Please only pack enough for your child.  
  10. Our Feed Room Canteen offers Pre-ordered Breakfast consisting of a breakfast pastry, fruit and fruit juice @ $4:50 per day.  Lunch of 1 slice of pizza, Mac and cheese or pasta, package of cookies and beverage @ $6.50 per day both are available by the day or by the week. The Feed Room offers ala cart items with a variety of chips, fresh fruits, yogurt, cookies, crackers, ice cream, candy, sports drinks, juices, bottled water, lunch items, and breakfast bars. All individually packaged with prices ranging from $.50 to $5.00. We do provide a kosher selection of goodies. The Feed Room is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
  11. Personal Belongings: We have 12 x 12 cubbies for the campers use please only bring a lunch bag and your helmet. No CELL PHONES, I-PADS or other electronic devises. are permitted. Do not bring a change of clothes for riding unless you have a scheduled formal lesson. On Water Wednesdays a change clothes, a, small plastic bag and towel is permitted. We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
  12. Code of Conduct: Campers are expected to show respect to all adults as well as fellow campers. Campers are required to address adults by "Miss, Mrs. and Mr., Please and Thank You. Inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of riding privileges and camp attendance as well as forfeiture of any deposits or monies to camper or parent.
  13. Arrival and Departure: We are an Equine Community with kids, pets and horses riding and walking on the roadways. The speed limit is 15 MPH. Persons departing the neighborhood has right of way. Please do not drive on grass areas or swales.

We will participate in limited water activities and will enjoy the outdoors when weather permits.
